This is little girl goat. She needs a name.
Little girl goat has been living on the back porch for the past week or so. She was up with the boys and is about their same age. She wasn't doing very well so I brought her down to the house to get her health under control.
Her tummy was out of sorts so I spent the first week feeding her a mixture of yoghurt, sugar and probios(sort of like acidophilus for goats) to repopulate her rumen with good bacteria. We got that sorted out and now I'm worming her and trying to get rid of her bad cough. I think she has lung worms...something baby goats and horses sometimes get.
She was also very very wild...so this time spent here at the house with me is calming her down and getting her used to being handled. She's pretty tired of…
